No Babycare, or a care in the world!

We started our first journey together as an unofficial boyfriend and girlfriend.....

Our chosen destination was Genoa, Italy, December 2003.

The hotel at the time is unknown now nor marked on the map! A 3 star, right on the cliff front is what we booked. The experience didn't go down well, especially the metal hanger as a make shift aerial for the tv which was sitting on a Veg Box...... But one thing I can tell you was the city was very romantic. Lots of walking, impulse eating! Patisserie buying and fantastic authentic Italian food and lingerie shops....

I remember we checked out as Rob just couldn't deal with the 3 star conditions so upgraded to the Astor Hotel, Genoa #AstorHotelGenoa . Where we were welcomed with a more friendly and more upmarket experience. This is 16 years ago!!! So standards were different, as was our expectation. However one thing we did know was travel was definitely our thing.

P.s This is where we exchanged L Bomb! And for the record I told him I loved him first! Girls you can make the first move. #love
